The week of Jan. 16 Virginia Tech is internet hosting a collection of events honoring the life, legacy, and work of civil rights icon and activist, Martin Luther King, Jr.

The week will function “A Conversation with Ruth E. Carter”. Carter is preeminent visible storyteller and costume designer. This 12 months’s service venture is a meals drive for The Market of VT, a free grocery retailer created to assist Hokies entry wholesome meals. Friday, Jan. 20 – Residing, Studying, & Adaptive Landscapes: How Evolutionary Biology Can Assist us Navigate it All 

The twelfth annual Martin Luther King, Jr. seminar options C. Brandon Ogbunu talking on “Living, learning, and adaptive landscapes: How evolutionary biology can help us navigate it all”. Ogbunu is a computational biologist whose analysis investigates advanced issues in epidemiology, evolutionary & inhabitants genetics, and evolution.
